Duration: 26 weeks design and manufacture, 4 weeks install & commission

Design, manufacture and installation of new PTe Engine Mini-Line consisting of 60m of automation. The line consists of accumulating power and free conveyor, divert units, turntables, lift and rotate units, manual stops and electric stops.

All the automation is controlled by the Allen-Bradley SLC500 PLC system using a FLEX IO network

 


CVH Petrol Test Automation, Port Elizabeth, South Africa

Puma Monoblock Interlinking Automation, Rayleigh, Essex

Client: Albon Engineering & Manufacturing plc Date: 1998

Duration: 18 weeks from date of order to delivery

Design, and manufacture of Puma Monoblock Interlinking Automation involving the provision of slat band conveyor systems, spacing units, lift and rotate units, rotate and lower units, various escapements and presentation units to accommodate the part during the production process through six machining operations.

 


Solid Brake Disc Interlinking Automation, Swansea, South Wales

Date: 1995 Duration: 28 weeks from date of order to commissioning

Design, manufacture and installation of Solid Brake Disc Interlinking Automation involving the provision of blue steel gravity conveyors, chain elevator unit, Movopart lowerator, and storage towers for movement of solid brake discs through two machining processes.

 


Crown Wheel Interlinking Automation, Swansea, South Wales

Client: Ford Motor Company Date: 1997

Duration: 28 weeks from date of order to commissioning

Design, manufacture and installation of Crown Wheel Interlinking Automation. This involved the provision of blue steel gravity conveyors, elevator units and storage towers for movement of crown wheel components through three machining processes. Close control of status of the line was required at all times, this was achieved through the use of Allen-Bradley PLC software and proximity switches. The operator is able to monitor the line at all times and fault find via the self diagnostic software incorporated within the program.
